The Wisconsin Province actively supports and participates in Jesuit ministries throughout the world.
KOREA - In the 1950s the
Jesuit headquarters in Rome called on us to establish a Jesuit presence in Korea.
We helped staff a seminary and founded a university. Today Korea is
an independent region with more than 130 Jesuits working in a wide range of ministries
including
a Jesuit novitiate, retreat house, university, and several social apostolates.

EAST AFRICA- Today we have an ongoing relationship with the Eastern Africa Province, an area roughly the size of non-Russian Europe that comprises five East African nations -- Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan and Ethiopia. We work in these countries with about 130 Jesuits from a total of 29 provinces worldwide and about 100 African Jesuits. In Uganda and Kenya, Jesuits and volunteers train teachers, offer the Sacraments, promote cottage industries and provide vital medical care. In Tanzania refugees and victims of violence are offered counseling and physical and spiritual healing, as well as educational and occupational assistance.
INDIA - We are also in the early stages of establishing a relationship with the Kohima region in the northeastern states of India.
In these and other ways we stay actively connected with the worldwide Jesuit mission of accompanying others to a closer relationship with Christ.
