A time to gather with our Partners
Steve Graff (left) and his wife Bernie present the Offertory Gifts to Fr. Richard McGarrity, SJ (right), president of the Jesuit Partnership, during Mass at an October gathering of about 200 benefactors and Jesuits at Marquette University in Milwaukee. A reception and program discussing vocations to the Society of Jesus followed the Mass. Fall gatherings were also held in the St. Paul-Minneapolis area and in Omaha. Such events offer opportunities for Jesuits to meet with Partners, update them on activities, and express gratitude for the prayers and financial support given the Society of Jesus.
Turning out in support of Nativity
Fr. Bill Johnson, SJ, president of the Nativity Jesuit Middle School, talks with former student Humberto Sanchez (center) and Julie Revane, a school benefactor, prior to the annual Nativity Scholarship Benefit Banquet at Marquette University in Milwaukee. A crowd of 500 attended the mid-October event. Proceeds benefitted the Nativity scholarship fund. "This annual celebration helps Nativity sustain our efforts to educate Hispanic youth for Christian leadership and service," Fr. Johnson said.
