New priests receive assignments and announce first mass dates

MILWAUKEE – Two Jesuits who will be ordained to the Two Jesuits who will be ordained to the priesthood on Friday, June 10 have received their first priestly assignments and announced the dates of their first Masses.

Fr. Casey Beaumier, SJ and Fr. Mark Carr, SJ will both celebrate their first Masses on Saturday, June 11. Fr. Beaumier will celebrate a 10 a.m. Mass of Thanksgiving at The Church of the Gesu, 1145 W. Wisconsin Ave., where both men will be ordained to the priesthood the night before (see back cover for details). Fr. Carr will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving at 5:30 p.m. at St. Michael Parish, 315 W. Illinois St. in Wheaton, Ill.

In the weeks following, Fr. Carr will report to Holy Rosary Mission in Pine Ridge, S.D. where he will be a theology teacher at Red Cloud High School and work in pastoral ministry.

Fr. Beaumier will teach theology and work in campus ministry at Creighton University in Omaha.
