The Jesuit Partnership is finalizing plans for a variety of events and talks planned for the late summer and early fall.
“We have two interesting speakers lined up and are sorting out options to round out what we feel will be an exciting and engaging schedule of events,” says Fr. Dick McGarrity, SJ, Partnership president.

Fr. Gregory A.
Kalscheur, SJ,
assistant professor
at Boston College
School of Law, will
be the keynote
speaker at an event
hosted by the Jesuit
Partnership Council of Milwaukee
at Marquette University’s Alumni
Memorial Union. Fr. Kalscheur’s main
teaching and research interests include
law and religion, constitutional law, civil
procedure, and Catholic social thought
and the law. He will address how faith
and religious values can be integrated
with public and professional life.

SJ, founder/
director of the
National Theatre
Workshop of the
Handicapped and
author of several
books including
The Secrets of Jesuit Breadmaking and
The Secrets of Jesuit Soupmaking, will
be the guest speaker at the annual
Omaha Ignatian Dinner to be held
again at Lauritzen Gardens. The event
is hosted by the Jesuit Partnership
Council of Omaha. Lay-Jesuit
collaboration will be the theme of Br.

The Christ the King Retreat Center
will be the site of the Twin Cities
Women’s Ignatian Retreat. Also in
Minnesota, the Jesuit Partnership
Council of Minneapolis and St. Paul is
again planning a Fall Forum at a date
and time to be announced.
