NEW
WEBSITE PROMOTES APOSTLESHIP OF PRAYER
MILWAUKEE
– Fr. Jim Kubicki, SJ (below), national
director of the Apostleship of Prayer, recently launched a
new website that provides insightful reflections on monthly
intentions and other information.
The
Apostleship of Prayer is one of the simplest yet most effective
means of devotion available to Catholics today, though most
are unaware of it. It has not only been approved of but has
been recommended and promoted by every pope for the past 100
years. The Daily Offering is at the center of the AOP. In
this simple prayer, every moment of our day is devoted to
God.
Taking
just a minute or two each morning, the offering allows the
faithful to join together with the holy father and offers
our prayers, works, joys and sufferings to further the intentions
of the Sacred Heart. It is a practice, not a distinct charism,
so all Catholics (religious orders, clergy, and laity) can
participate.
