MILWAUKEE
- Fr. Casey Beaumier, SJ and Fr. Mark Carr, SJ were ordained
to the priesthood on Friday, June 10.
"We are privileged to have these two quality men join the ranks of
Jesuit priests in our Province," said Fr. Provincial G. Thomas Krettek,
SJ, who was installed as the new provincial at a Mass the day before.
The day after their ordinations both new priests celebrated their first
Masses. Fr. Beaumier celebrated a 10 a.m. Mass of Thanksgiving at The
Church of the Gesu in Milwaukee, the same church were both men were
ordained. Fr. Carr will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving at 5:30 p.m. at
St. Michael Parish, in Wheaton, Ill.
Fr. Carr's first priestly assignment will be at Holy Rosary Mission in
Pine Ridge, S.D. where he will be a theology teacher at Red Cloud High
School and work in pastoral ministry.
Fr. Beaumier will teach theology and work in campus ministry at
Creighton University in Omaha.
